This year’s Kielbasa Klassic 4-Man Golf Scramble was held on Sunday, August 4th, at the Giant Oak Golf Course in Temperance Michigan. There were 15 teams for a total of 60 players, competing for first place. This year’s winners were Dave Martin, John Danielski, Jim Carey, and Tom Cunningham. Along with winner “bragging rights”, they also won a $300 cash prize and gift certificates to Stanley’s Market. Golfers took home door prizes and the famous “Kielbasa Klassic” t-shirt.
There was plenty of Stanley’s kielbasa, beer, and other foods for the competitors. This year’s 4 man scramble was an overwhelming success and many players will be back next year bringing their friends to make this an even bigger event. Thank you to Mike Sottek and Tim Paluszak for organizing this year’s golf scramble. Thank you to all of the volunteers who cooked and served the food. All proceeds from this event go to PACT for their scholarship fund which awards scholarships every year to high school and college students. Thank you to all of the golfers for helping this worthy cause.
